This is my brothers band, The Black Cadillacs and this video is one of the few high resolution videos you’ll find on YouTube. It was shot at a place called the Corner lounge.  In the videos they play Young Man Blues (As performed by the Who) and Damaged Girl, which is an original song written by the lead singer. Wow… They Made the Doom Movie last Summer, they were gonna make the Halo Movie this Summer, but in place of Halo is something I didn’t really expect… Yeah, FarCry the movie is coming out 6 days before my birthday, and it looks like it’s worth a million laughs. To anybody who’s played the game, the mutants look like Edgar Winter got really strong and shaved his head. Really? Along with this video game adapted crap, we’ve got a game where you live through evolution and create planets! Spore! No, No, actually Spore looks good. Back to the topic of a disappointingly horrible movie coming out this Summer, here’s a video for you. It ought to crack you up, if not, I guess your favorite movie is I Am Legend.

This game is so confusing!

Yellow hat is finally supporting our country… By running for President! Great, Isn’t it? Well, being serious, I’m running for president in a club. In this club at my school different people are running for President and supporting different Subjects.

Alot of People aren’t taking it seriously, so I threw in some Anti-Robot Uprising Propaganda in my debut. It’s pretty fun, especially making ads. So, VOTE FOR YELLOW!

I‘m really liking this new design. It’s weird that I actually have two posts in one day, but I wanted to talk about the new design. I’m wondering if Knowledge Latte Fits this or if I should flip it with the Creation Network (My other blog) design, which is very similar. I’ll probably keep this, but I can’t imagine that other one being so busy with all the widgets and stuff, so I don’t know what to do.

 PARAWORLD: And My Own Preview Post

 Consoles: PC and Macintosh.

   Who can’t ever ask for more than a dinosaur game? Well, that’s what they must’ve been feeling when they made classic games like “Jurassic Park: Rampage Addition” and “Turok: Dinosaur Hunter”. Pretty recently a new style of Dinosaur game came out called “ParaWorld”, Which is a stylish RTS where you combine elements of Ninjas and Dinosaurs. Whether fighting with Steampunk machines as Samurai or riding Dinosaurs as Cavemen, ParaWorld is very different from many other RTS games. (For those who didn’t know, that means Real Time Strategy Game) While some popular Strategy games like Company of Heroes and Rise of Nations/Legends try to focus on huge battles, here’s a game that tries to make small “4 Ninjas fighting two Raptors” style. And another great thing is that it features 52 different kind of infantry, 40 of which are Monstrous Dinosaurs, Mammoths and other prehistoric creatures. Oh, I can’t wait to play this one! (All information is preview. Once I actually play the game I’ll have a real review.)
Styles:

The game seems to mainly focuses on small kind of Big Unit on Little Units battle style, with that great feeling of “Yay, I have a over-exaggeratedly huge monster in my army.” and then the “Wow, I spent two hours trying to get that monster and then that other monster butchered it.” What so ever, that’s life. Maybe the best feeling is that you might feel like you have every enemy from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, at your own command. So really, you’ve got the essence of either defeat or Victory.

Some Cool Features:

*52 units, 40 of which are rampaging dinosaurs

*5 different course styles.

*Titan feature, where your tribe summons one huge dinosaur and it runs around eating everything in sight.

*8 Player Online including- Defend Mode where you hold off against up to 7 different friends online; Team Deathmatch: The Standard Game; and Domination (Capture the flag)

*3 playable “Heroes”.

*3 Different tribes: The Norse (Vikings), The Dust Riders (Inspired by Ancient African civilization) and the Dragon— Something, I forgot .(Inspired by Mid-Evil Asia)

 Dinosaurs are interesting. Gory shooters are cool. Rambo’s Cool. And the Xbox 360’s cool too. What happens when you jumble all that up? You get the new Turok Game, Of course! Turok would be as cool as say… Rotten Grape-Fruit, if the game series hadn’t thrown in one thing when it was made in the early Ninty’s: Dinosaurs. It was Unique in always thanks to the point it had no plot and you got to blow the guts out of dinosaurs and other weird monsters. The New Turok game has taken a spin from that: It has a plot! That being not the only thing, it’s full of cool online play and fun Rambo like sneaking engines. If you’re a fan of dinosaurs, mutated lobsters or guys wearing gas masks, I think you’ll like this game. You play as the all new Joseph Turok (In previous games you were Tallset.) an ex-wolf pack member. What’s Wolfpack? To my understanding I think they’re terrorists… Anyways, he’s recruited by the Space Marines onto a ship to hunt down Wolf pack leader “Kaine” and bring him back to Earth alive. A missile hits your space ship and you and your crew are sent hurtling down onto a planet infested with Wolf Pack member bases and Inhumane creatures. (Yes, I mean dinosaurs: But you’re in for a surprise, there’s more.)

Game play is pretty good; Especially if you’re a fan of Rambo. If Rambo was on a tropical planet full of dinosaurs and Terrorists, he’d do what he’d do when sneaking through the jungle full of police officers. You can perform tons of great combos with your combat knife from jumping on top of a T-Rex and smashing his cranium to picking up a small, clumsy dinosaur and cutting open his neck. There’s a whole array of Herbivores who you can just kill for fun. On the darker side away from the joy of hunting dinosaurs, you have to fight humans too, which brings the game play down a lot. Even on easy, Humans are plain frustrating and repetitive to fight. The controls will also bring you down if you’re used to playing Halo or Call of Duty. The best part is probably online play. Not only can you sneak up on online opponents and engage in 4 way battles on Death match mode, but there are free roaming dinosaurs scattered on the map. Depending on what map you choose (I’m not sure if T-Rex’s are on any of the maps) there are different dinosaurs that have their own neutral party. Say you’re engaged in a knife fight when a raptor jumps out from an opening in the wall. I’ve only been to one map so far where there were raptors, but I know it must be a great element that not many new games will pick up any time soon.

Turok earns a solid 8/10. While campaign can some times drag on, Dinosaurs, Rambo and Online play sometimes saves the game.

From running from Monsters to shooting up bad guys, choose your own adventure was always cherished by kids all over the world. They were pretty short books…

Interestingly, it’s been re-introduced to adults and children everywhere now. With Protaganize.com, You can post your own “Story Root” and let people add on to it, constructing it into one big story. It’s hailed with popularity only since early 2007, and has a root number of somewhere around 350. First, you get a free account, and second, you post. You can add passages to people’s story roots or make your own story roots. As you can see, the word’s spreading: Now you can be a part of Protaganize here!

Strategy games for the Xbox have always been, well, horrible. With the release of Games like Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 seems to be getting worse, along with all of it’s other games. It’s been known for sometime that “Halo Wars” destined to be released in Summer, 2008, is not a Bungie project. It’s going to be a strategy prequel for the Xbox 360. I feel like it will be a disappointment like the cheap Lord of the Rings strategy for the Xbox. It seems like Call of Duty 4 makes Halo look like a hundred-dollar budget game; Call of Duty 4 holds a realistic, intense plot, tons of amazing game play and amazing online play; Halo 3 seems to be a bland shoot em’ up game. Also, with games like Spore and Far cry Instincts 2, Halo Wars hold a place in the bottom of most anticipated games of 08, 09 and 010. The interesting thing though is that games  like Bioshock, by Ubisoft, dropped increasingly because of the lack of online play and the fact that it would sit in your closet after you beat it. It just seems like Halo has lost it… and Bungie won’t be making money for quite sometime.
