They are threatened by the Army/ law inforcment of their warren that they will be hunted and killed if they don’t stay, though making it away from the warren they face many dangers on the way including the evil Cowslip’s warren, predators, the crueleties of mankind and the sydestic-insane General Woundwort and his over popualated army and warren. They seek help from creatures like Kehaar the Bird and Hannah the mouse. By the time they have arrived to Watership Down they build a warren without noticing that they completely lack their reproducing source, does, in other words female rabbits. They set out to a warren called Efrafa where they meet the insane-war-raging General Woundwort. When they try to get does, they are in for quite a shock, that, Woundwort may not be a simple opstical.

Out-

Some of the stories told inside this book are very good, yet it seems the names like, El-hrairah and Frith were added as Mr. Adams went on.

In-

The characters in this book are very unique and all have some sort of difference to each other. Like Fiver the visionary, Blackberry the smartest of all the rabbits, Hazel a wise and brave leader, Silver a silent large gray rabbit, Dandelion a great story teller, Bigwig a bossy large rabbit with a large piece of his hair on his head, and more unique characters go in and out of the story as it is read.

Out-

Description is a great thing, but the long— two page long— descriptions may turn young readers in the direction of ” The Suite life of Zack and Cody” the book [laughs].

In-

This book is not a im-mature book, it is an adult novel, yet it is very possible for children 9 and older to read.

And Last:

I have read this book myself, and everywhere I look, forums, websites, and more have given it amazing ratings. I loved, LITERALLY loved this book. I recommend it to people who enjoy books like Eragon, Red Wall, and if you’re an adult who lieks Stephen King, don’t forget this is one of Stephen’s Favorite books, if you remember the mention in the classic The Stand. This book is truly inspiring, amazing, and it will pin you to the couch by your fire place. In all I give this book Five Stars. I am not kidding, this book is truly amazing!!! Though that description may sound dumb, it has good ratings from the most famous authors and websites. I loved this book, I know ” Cool kids ” who enjoyed it. If you think you’re to cool for this book, then you’re too cool for your favorite book, thoguh it may be broign and trail off in description sometimes, you must be patient. the action scenes are amazing and intense, and the dramatic parts CAN cause tears!!!!!!! Please look for this book! Also look for the other classic Tales From Watership Down the second one. This book is probably good because it’s old, 1972. Be on the look out for another thing that has great rating Watership down the movie an animated classic from 1978, I have looked at reviews, and people told in the end they cried, at the action scenes they gasped, and everything you can think of!

PLEASE TRY TO READ THIS BOOK, IT IS VERY THICK, 474 PAGES LONG IT IS NOT FUN AND GAMES!!!!

and if you think this is a little baby book look at this picture from the movie based on this book

It is also very, very violent ( to rabbit lovers )Big Wig
